Wall mount shelf for MT10?
Has anyone wall mounted this monster? My wood floors are causing the needle to skip. Any suggestions in terms of shelves? Pics?

Betcha a set of Stillpoints Ultra 5 under the table will transform it. Or, HRS makes a platform that will eliminate footfalls, vibrations, specifically tuned/sized for the MT10. Neither of these options are cost friendly but both will not only eliminate your problem, it will make your MT10 sound better all around. I would not wall mount because IMO it always looks less than optimal aesthetically.

I you want to wall mount the MT 10 on a shelve you would have to make a thick shelve with a 2" x 3" wood frame and secure to either studs of concrete walls. If you have metal studs you will have to open wall and reinforce. Then side the finish shelve over the frame. Question? if your floor is moving and your walls are on the floor this might make the problem worse

I would love to wall mount my MT-10. I loved the way 1KW did it.
However I do have 2 x mc275vi and I worry about the heat in a semi enclosed shelf. What do you you think? |

I would not expose my TT to any heat above room temp. As you well know, tubes amps need to breath free air. Placing them inside a cabinet is, IMHO, not the way to go. YMMV.

Is there a commercial turntable "wall" shelf that can handle the MT10. (21" deep x 18" wide)I looked at several but their footprint are smaller than the MT-10. The Solid Steel WS5 was almost big enough but just shy.

As long as the feet are fully on the shelf and you have room to make the connections in the back the fact that the plinth overhangs makes no difference.
