Visit to Audio Classics
Assume most of us McIntosh-o-philes are aware of Audio Classics, which is 'just down the road' from the McIntosh factory. Dropped off my 'abused' (by the shipper) MA8950 and picked up a new one this morning. Much safer with me then any of the shipping companies.
Here are a few pic's of their listening rooms and literally hundreds upon hundreds of pieces of both new and vintage McIntosh gear. The one pic that did not turn out (drat) is the one of a C12000 & pair of MC451 driving a pair of JBL Jubilee speakers. Stunning presence in every facet of the game (SQ & visual). The MC901s and JBL (don't know the model) were also excellent, but the Jubilees & MC451s were the ones to hear for me.

I've only shown about half (or less) of their gear, work rooms, storage, etc. One room was full from an 'audiophile' who recently passed and must have had a dozen sets of speakers (Aerial 20Ts and down from there) and 30 or 40 pieces of gear, all but a couple with their original boxes. Was delivered yesterday and AC was so busy that they had not had time to sort it.
Here is an older Thorens with what I believe is a record 'flipper' (plays both sides). Not something one sees every day.
