Unless there is something we do not know I agree Hamilton's move was motivated by $$, not by opportunities to win championships.
I wonder if he would have made the move had he not won a World Championship?

Interestingly, next season brings a new formula to F1. Ross Brawn has a history of developing F1 championship teams. As long as Mercedes is patient, it could happen.

The question that is yet to be answered is whether Lewis is able and willing to help develop a car. We know Schumi was instrumental at Ferrari in this role.

Mike, you're right. Luca M told me once that MS played the greatest role for Ferrari successes. He developed each component of the car. Now, he's no more like in the past.
No one will be like him.

The only way to see ferrari win again? Fire Domenicali! I told it to Luca M. He said, let's wait.
Yes, we'll wait for the 2nd drive in Ferrari....just before cheering for sauber.

Well, there's more. Schumi is retiring - not unexpected of course.

Shu was a remarkable driver and statesman & proponent for F1 safety. I really hated to hear of his return because of how I believed it would end up after a year or so -- which as it seems is very similar to his actual closing days in F1 as a driver (future involvement??--probably behind the scenes in the office and sidelines).

Anyway, anyone going to stay up & watch the practice?

Best

Bob

I made the first 15 or so minutes and decided I needed rest. Have it on the DVR and will watch it this morning.
