I had DirectV since 1994 -- finally jumped off that a few months back after our neighborhood had been upgraded to provide AT&T TV over copper phone lines; AT&T calls their TV content/service u-Verse.

It's great IMO -- the menu is lightening speed, great HD picture & no issues with weather.
