One interesting match to see on the 26th will be Germany - Greece. Sports with a political spice.

Pedro...congrats on advancing to the QFs

I agree, the Greece vs. Germany game will be especially interesting given the political/economic backdrop

Looks like New Democracy party won a narrow majority in Greece and will try to set up a coalition with Pasok to keep Greece in the Euro for now.

Well today he looked pretty serious... According to statistics from the BBC, Ronaldo
had 12 shots on goal in a game, the most since Euro 1980, he's now the 3rd best scorer
for Portugal in international games, he is the first portuguese player to score in
5 consecutive main tournaments (2 world cups and 3 euro cups).

What I saw today was a player that looked dangerous every time he had the ball and
he makes his team look better. And this was against the Netherlands which was
supposed to be one of the favorites to win. This team will go far.

It is going to be very interesting if Spain and Croatia have a low scoring tie today and Italy beats Ireland. All three end up with 5 points. There are so many possible outcomes of who moves on depending on the final scores.

Let's see if the Italian conspirators are right and Spain draws 2-2 with Croatia!

Jim...as you say, if the scenario plays out as you say, then it's all about the scoring, because the cumulative Goal Difference (# of goals scored - goals conceded by each team) in the first round will determine the priority ranking between team with the same number of points in the table.

That would be an upset for sure if Spain does not outright win.

What a nice goal by Ronaldo! He had several chances and finally scored.
