Allen - have you made a decision yet? Hopefully you've had a chance to audition other speakers as well! A pair of Futuras perhaps? A really really nice pair of Strads from a AA member perhaps?

Hi Jim;
I am going to try to go... Are you going on the 15th vs 16th? If so, I'll try to go the same night. Chuck

Between the two I'd pick Sashas any day.

Ditto the Sasha's While I'm not a complete fan of the Wilson idiom--the Sasha's are
on the road to redemption in my mind--Pity you can't go to the Alexia--THAT is a Speaker --period! As for the grainy spitting Cobra of the 800 Diamonds--what are you-a masochist? Des |

I've been in "Joe" mode lately and listened to a pair of Sashas with VTL MB450s. They were very very nice and I must admit I've come around regarding Wilsons. If they're mated right, they can be unbelievable. I know you can say that about almost any brand but they were, to my ears, something worthy of serious consideration.
My vote goes to the Sashas. |

They are magnifying glasses of all the shortcomings / design fails of associated gear. With high quality amps, they sound just fabulous and they can sound aweful with so called "high end" amps which are not really serious. Sent from my iPhone using A.Aficionado
