"tigermachine" is now returned to Super-Bad-Status !!!

Hello AA Modders,

Well UPS ran this afternoon and guess what he delivered ???

That's right the New MSD Coil-Packs arrived.

So, had to run some errands for Cathy.

Then once again it was Grass Mowing time.

Man it has rained a lot here this year.

No-Complaints from this fellow as I much prefer to be looking at Green-Grass
versus 100 Degree Plus Summer Temperatures as it has been in years back.

So got the mowing done and then the Real Fun began in the garage.

I did take the "tigermachine" out twice for some short runs after the MSD COP install.

I can tell you for sure for a Heavy 3,945 LB. Mustang with 3:73 gears and 20" wheels and tires.

This thing will simply haul butt and I am being serious.

I tried a few times to Punch it in the lower gears and it just goes WILD !!!

I may be sort of Crazy but not so Crazy that I am going to wreck it when it just gets to skating all over the street.

Seriously I think it has not been running right for some time now.

Because it is a real hand-full now that it is running the way it should.

This thing just covers ground in a Major-Way !!!

Here is the tiger fellow doing his thing.

Yes that is actually me
turning a wrench.

Just pulled the {Stock} COP left hand.
Installing the New MSD COP right hand.

Driver's side is completed.

A Happy Face as hard side is done.

Passenger side is completed.
(It is the easier side to do)

The tigerman is smiling as it is all
completed.

Put the OEM COP back in the box
as they could come in use
once again in the future.

Time to clean-up the
"tigermachine"
for a Test Drive.

Always nice to see something work, especially when your doing the work yourself. This mod/upgrade should be good for what, 15-20 RWHP, along with improved fuel economy (which of course goes out the window when your dropping the hammer all the time, LOL!). As for the before and after, given the performance number's you've shared in the past, the Tigermachine hauled ass even before the coil's

Or do you measure tire life in feet?

Hello Guys,

I'm glad you guys like seeing things that are done with the "tigermachine".

Honestly I don't really do hardly any of the actual work on the 08 Bullitt Mustang.

It was almost all done at BRENSPEED in Pierceton, IN.

And that was over the last 5-years.

It has been an on going step by step change until it has basically ended up as you have seen it recently.

Oh, speaking of fuel consumption.

I just checked it with the on-board computer yesterday.

It showed 18 MPG at 70 MPH with cruise-control-set.

Even after me getting off the interstate and driving it on the 2-lane roads with stop and go traffic.

It still showed like high 17 MPG when I got back home.

I will admit that was with me {Not Punching} it at all.

To be a car that you can jump in and drive it where ever it is an "Awesome" machine.

Jump in and if needed turn on the Factory A/C, set the Cruise-Control and {Crank-Up} the XM Shaker 1000 Satellite Radio and cruise.

If one wanted to drive straight to Dallas Texas and run the crap out of it on a drag-strip.

Then just fill it back up with 93-Octane Gas and start the trip back to Franklin, TN.

IMHO it is a pretty darn Bad-Ass Machine.
