Esoteric G02 Clock inbound!

I recall being advised at the time I purchased the K-01X that if I wanted to upgrade the clock the obvious path was the G-01. I just find the price prohibitive. I too will be interested to hear your thoughts.

Has anyone tried these Rubidium clocks from China?

I've also heard from my tech that one of his clients has built a home made version using the Rubidium clock modules on Ebay for his K05 which made a huge improvement.

When the G-02 is connected to the K-03x, does it also reclock the USB digital input, or just the CD.

Had the G-02 to support my D-02 DAC.
I heard almost no increase in sound quality but I made the mistake to check only on Headphone rig.
As Experts told me and i learned now is that it will be audible for the Loudspeaker system.

No external clock can improve the internal clock of a DAC, even if the external clock is of higher quality than the one included in the DAC. By the time it reaches the DAC chip that high quality external clock is all but a memory.

The purpose of an external clock unit like the G-02 is to synchronize multiple digital devices to a single clock reference in a studio setting, not to improve the internal clock of a DAC. But manufacturers like Esoteric and dCS profit from audiophile's ignorance to sell them more overpriced boxes.

In a digital chain the DAC should be the master clock (since jitter is relevant only at the DA conversion moment) to which the source should be slaved.

Have you heard the difference a G01 makes adding it to a K01-X or Grandioso P1 in an A/B comparison; I have.

I have sold countless Rubidium Clocks just by doing an A/B demo on the fly.
