Perhaps. I found it interesting when originally released but I tired of it and now cannot really enjoy these recordings any more.

Default Saint-Saëns: Symphony No. 3 in C Minor 'Organ' and other works

Inspired by tima's musings I pulled this out to enjoy...

Saint-Saëns:
Introduction & Rondo capriccioso, Op. 28
Noah Geller (violin
La Muse et le Poète, Op. 132
Noah Geller (violin), Mark Gibbs (cello)
Symphony No. 3 in C minor, Op. 78 'Organ Symphony'
Jan Kraybill (organ)
Kansas City Symphony, Michael Stern

Outstanding audiophile recordings of showcase pieces that hold their own artistically against the best version. Selected as a Gramophone Magazine Editor's Choice for September 2015.

Carlos, amigo, yes I know you like this.
It is in your top 20 of best sounding discs (with good music on them! - I recently attended a demo where they let us hear slamming doors to impress us...).

Delightful album where the possibilities of the instrument are used to the max.

Geminiani: Concerti Grossi (After Corelli Op. 5)
Andrew Manze, The Academy of Ancient Music

This is an orchestration of Corelli's Op 5 violin sonatas done by his London-based pupil, Franceso Geminiani. Like Manze writes in the booklet, these "are more than arrangements or orchestrations: they are explorations, expansions, the end product of musical evolution."

This baroque music is tuneful and invigorating and easily recommended to all Corelli lovers here. The recorded sound is very good, but it requires more gain than usual. I like it!
Enjoying this nice set today. The music is excellent, but I wish the recorded sound were a bit more vivid, aggressive.

Haydn - Concerto For Violoncello and Orchestra No. 1 & 2 - Symphony No. 60
Combattimento Consort Amsterdam, Jan Willem de Vriend
Quirine Viersen, violoncello

The often overlooked genius Haydn, yes!
A most enjoyable album, and well recorded too.
