MR-88 Firmware: Current Version Is Now v1.11

Hello,

Just purchased a MR88 Tuner.....I noticed that you had or have the link for the 1.11 Firmware......is there any way you could forward the link to me? Also, I am running Windows 7 64 bit with an Intel Processor........ok with this setup?

Unless you're experiencing a bug, I probably wouldn't bother. I had to upgrade the firmware on mine for XM support which put me at 1.10, but without a good reason I'll be staying there.

If you PM me, I'll be glad to send you the v1.11 firmware (it's not a link -- it's a Windows executable). The v1.11 upgrade process is simple and flawless (Windows 10 64 bit is fine). As I wrote before, the v1.10 firmware update process was subject to easily "bricking" your MR-88 if you used any operating system above Windows Vista.

v1.11 fixed a VERY serious problem that I had with my MR-88 in that when you turned the tuning dial, the "analogue" display would leave remnants of itself all over the display.

Again, E-mail me, I'll be glad to send you the firmware, or else, call Chuck Hinton at McIntosh support and I'm sure that he'll be glad to send it to you.... It's about 10 megabytes in size.
