I've picked up a perfectly working Pioneer SX990 receiver from way back when. I was amazed at first at how much power it could kick out.

Mid-eighties Nakamichi Dragon cassette deck. Not used in system now, but I can't seem to let it go either. Back in the day, it paired nicely with my Radio Shack Realistic equipment and Polk Audio SDA 1's - or so I thought.

just rolled a Luxman 3055 receiver into the system. Little weak on the bass end of things (could use a recap), but I can live with it for a few weeks.

Kenwood KR-77 receiver from 1969, definitely not high end but lovely piece, mint cosmetic condition and recaped.

Sold the Cary SLP-98P/Rocket 88 combo so rolled in a borrowed Luxman R-3055 receiver from the early '70's while waiting on my INT-25. 55wpc and sounds very good with a notable lack of bass (after listening to 20wpc of Class A tubes for the past several years). Needs a recap to get it to its best. Really a "luxury" feel to all its controls even to this day.
