Default Hi from Wales

I dont know if I'm the first member from Wales?

Beaides home in Wales, I also spend a good bit of the year in Boston so familiar with the US audio scene.

Current system is:
Digital Source: Aurender s10
CD player: DCS Verdi Encore (not used much these days)
DAC/clock/upsamples: DCS Scarlatti
Preamp: Ayre KXR
Power Amps: Halcro DM88
Cables: Siltech Signature disgital, analogue and power, Vertex hirez speaker cables.
Stand: Finite Elemente
Speakers: Rockport Mira Grand.

Pic of setup:

Room is tiny by US standards. I am amazed how well the Rockports handle the room; much better than my old Wilson VI used to.

As you can see, system doubles as tv sound system with Pioneer KRP600a screen and Lumagen XD video processor.

I'm looking forward to learning from you guys and maybe being able to contribute too.

Started off well!! meant to post that in personal introductions rather than manufacturers section. Can a mod please be so kind as to move it if I promise to do better in future?

Custodian...welcome and great set up. Just curious, since you mentioned you spend a good portion of the year in Boston, did you buy your gear from the folks in Waltham? They carry all your gear except for Ayre pre and your cabling. Welcome again

No. all this system bought on this side of the pond. When we had a house in Weston, Ma, I did buy equipment in Boston. I know the Wlatham store very well and the owner was very helpful to me in assessing the Magico and Rockport speakers.
