The dove is a very common symbol of the “Divinity”, or God, in many historical, religiously sacred works of art. The dove represents the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Ron, educate yourself man. The belief in aliens is not a contradiction of the Catholic Faith. If the Aliens exist, they are all God's creatures is their stance on the topic. Forgive me if my Agnostic views preclude me from stepping foot in any of the places of worship for any other reason than to simply admire the architecture... I know enough about history to have formed a firm opinion that religious beliefs caused a great deal of sorrow for those who stood in their way. From the Crusades to the Spanish Inquisition to the Televangelists, the mission is very clear. I have zero interest in following any faith or religion... I however respect any and all religious beliefs for those that choose to worship so long as their religious beliefs do not cause harm to others. Throughout history that clearly was not the case and it still holds true today for some. That's unfortunate.

Thanks Ron. I do find my agnostic position to be open minded and in harmony with my intuition that nothing is beyond the realm of possible until proven otherwise. That goes for belief in God and Aliens. Fortunately we live in times where we are allowed the freedom of opinion and choice. That wasn’t always the case and hopefully we will never return to those dark ages. Be well!

The topic ultimately lead us here as the mysteries of the universe are often interwoven between traditional beliefs and more modern views. I know this is old news to some here but I watched a NASA files uncovered show a couple nights ago about a nuclear explosion on Mars some 300 million years ago. If the evidence is true and it seems to be then no we're not alone and haven't been since before human life existed here on Earth.
