I'm betting whatever these things are, most are artificial intelligence reconnaissance craft from other places. They don't have to have a biological being inside at all. We haven't sent anyone to Mars yet but our presence is there... Now imagine technology thousands or even millions of years ahead of us.

If they were millions of years ahead etc then their presence would be on the web, tv etc and the secrecy boys could piss in their pants. As I said, corporeal beings and ships would be vaporized by space debris etc if they could go at the speed needed. Plus were destroying our planet by pollution so even if they went at light speed or such they'd only see another Venus by the time they got here. Plus there's food and drink to consider on a humungous voyage. If they are see through invisible beings who don't need sustenance and can't be harmed by collisions, star radiation etc, then it's going to be tricky standing in front of a camera for the interview. Plus were kinda in the remote suburbs of our galaxy and very very small. If I came from a temperate wonder planet with millions X our tech etc would I bother? Nope.

When Oumuamua interstellar object came cruising through our solar system back in 2017 at a leisurely cruising pace of 196,000 mph, then changed its course, kicked into high gear and hightailed out of here as if to say “Oh hell no, not this place”... well some brilliant minds (Harvard University) that know a thing or two about these things came to the bold conclusion it was an artificial structure from some other solar system since no comet or asteroid has that type of behavior. Their space probes, if their real, are quicker than our ours, neer ner ne neer neer. Not impressed until we shake hands over a round of golf. Yes we can only see corporeal, because that's the limit of our brain. I'm fully aware that God and his plaything, the Universe, are limitless and beyond our knowledge. Of course there are habitable planets waaaay out there. Beyond number no doubt, without the time clock of pollution destroying their air cover one hopes. Pop in for tea, then I'll agree. We could always drill 60 miles down in to Europa and do some fishing in the meantime.

“Founded in 2015 by Russian billionaire Yuri Milner, Breakthrough Listen has now submitted a broader analysis of 1,327 stars, which officials said is about 80% of its nearby star sample.” This data release is a tremendous milestone for the Breakthrough Listen team," Danny Price, Breakthrough Listen Project Scientist for the Parkes Radio Telescope, said in the statement. "We scoured thousands of hours of observations of nearby stars, across billions of frequency channels. We found no evidence of artificial signals from beyond Earth, but this doesn't mean there isn't intelligent life out there: we may just not have looked in the right place yet, or peered deep enough to detect faint signals." Keep looking fellas, they are out there. |

A group of US senators, including the vice chair of the Senate Intelligence committee, received a classified briefing Wednesday about a series of reported encounters by the US Navy with unidentified aircraft, according to a congressional aide.
"If pilots at Oceana or elsewhere are reporting flight hazards that interfere with training or put them at risk, then Senator Warner wants answers. It doesn't matter if it's weather balloons, little green men, or something else entirely — we can't ask our pilots to put their lives at risk unnecessarily," Rachel Cohen, the spokeswoman for Democratic Virginia Sen. Mark Warner, told CNN. https://www.cnn.com/2019/06/20/polit...ors/index.html Last edited by PHC1; 06-20-2019 at 12:24 PM. |
