Terry, that second to last one is a cracker. I've got a pic of my oldest brother with his nephew & "the look" is identical! Got a great chuckle out of that one..

Kev .....

He was my Buddy from the 1st day we saw him at the breeder's home and when we arrived back home.
He was always right with me like I was his Pop.

Even after 12-years tiger still hangs out with me.
Even goes up in the H/T and lays beside me on the Luv seat.

I have never regretted my decision to get him.
My extensive research sure paid off on Maine Coon cats and their behavior.

It's a dwarf tiger!

Looks like he's got a great personality (likes to always be near and on people).

I see from reading your profile you are retired.
So am I like the last 4-years.

Let me see what else I have of the (tiger) Maine Coon.
I have a lot of pictures of him over the years but they are all not in the same place in my photobucket.
I don't mind sharing them if someone likes seeing the Pics.

In our situation we don't have children so tiger is a Family Member to us.
The only difference with us we don't wear out anyone visiting unless they bring up tiger themselves.
If they see him and they more than likely would and they want to rub on him and hug him.
Then ask if they don't know what kind of Cat is he?
Then at that point we will talk about him.
If the person is big enough and looks strong enough I will pick tiger up and ask that person if they would like to hold him.
That most of the time brings an instant okay and to their face.

I'll just go through my photobucket and see what I have for Pics.
No certain order !!!

You are right on target.
He is usually always right where I am.
And believe me he always knows exactly where I am in the house.
He keeps up with me even if he is napping in another room.

I think it's the breed. My fathers cat follows him around too. What a great personality. Even plays fetch with a wadded up paper.

You will find this interesting after reading about your Dad.

"tiger" will play fetch with a soft Small Ball.
I can throw it across the room and tiger will go get it and bring it back.
Now he will not just keep doing it for a long time but he will do it for several times.
I have even thrown it downstairs and he has brought it back up to me.

The Maine Coon has such an Awesome personality for sure.
I'm sure it varies according to how they are raised.
But assuming they are raised under foot from the time they are born.
Then when the new owner gets that kitten and continues the same degree of attention the Maine Coon Luvs that owner.
I think (Opinion) that with tiger he has like Bonded to me like I replaced his real dad.

We have had several cats over the years and I can tell you not one of them is anything close to how tiger is.

Glorious creature!

I received a cat when I was 6 years old and he lived until I was 28. Plus he weighed over 20 pounds. That was commitment!
Because of his great weight, the vet had him dying until he closed his business and retired.

I think I will take a hard look at this breed.
