Sure are -- Mingus could probably have been a professional pianist too -- need to find Mingus Plays Piano and Oh Yea. Mingus' "Mingus Ah UM" is probably his best.

I also play 'Mingus at Antibes' a lot.
Recorded in '60, and all jazzmen at their absolute best.
