The TAD CR1 and R1 speakers (roughly 40k and 80k, respectively) were designed in Japan but made in China. Apparently this has changed now, i.e. they claim that now the speakers are made in Japan.

The ones to my knowledge still USA made:
BAT, CAT, CJ, Mac, Wilson, ARC, Atma-Sphere, Joule..

I have some experience with Jungson, designed & made in china.
Not flawless, but good sounding.
(and as far as I know/experienced; better reliability than Xindak)

KEF make almost all their ranges (except the references upward which still remain in UK) in their own china factory.

Monitor Audio 100% all MIC.

B&W as well (maybe their top range still make in UK ??)

Musical Fidelity & Krell are make in Taiwan (not China).
ROC = Republic of China = Taiwan.
