Hi
schaefer11...... I was thinking towards that direction. The question is does it change the reverberation time T30 or not. When you are saying "time and frequency domain", do you mean: Time: as in group delay or phase shift. Or does it generally means "frequency response". Thanks |

Keep in mind I know just enough of how it works to be dangerous. There is an Audyssey forum out there with a ton of information, or you can go to their web site and ask them questions directly. I have done the latter and have gotten very quick reponses. I hope this helps.

Hi
Ok, I will look into that, thanks. I would like to say that I do belive in MEN220 roomperfect ability what is is supposed to do, flaten out the frequency response. This is great. MEN220 has more featuers like active X-over and other stuff that I like. Thanks |

Hi all,
According to Jérôme's strong recommandations , I deleted yesterday night all the measures and redid Focus (mic in my sweet spot looking at the speakers) and the RP measures with micro never looking at speakers. It took 8 measures to get 99%; When focus was done, it said 20%, first position 55%, second 76%, Third 94%, fourth 98%; I did 4 more measures to reach 99%. I didn't have time to listen yesterday when it was done because I had a dinner. Today I'll give it a serious listening session; right now I begin with random FLAC tracks from my Squeezebox to train my ears. |

Been adding multiple focus positions this afternoon. Take a look at this photo of my living room. Directly behind the recliner is my subwoofer. When fully reclined I am a mere 34 inches away.
With Room Perfect enabled for this position, the audio is still spot. Even with SPL readings at close to 100db, the sub doesn't blow me straight out of the chair any longer! |

Wow. I remember this thread but it is hard to believe that it is 11 1/2 years old. Room perfect did some nice stuff with my room.
Nice set-up and room you have. |
