And, you had my vote for the Oppo BDP 95 in your earlier post (re: the RCA Living Stereo discs)
Most "good" CD/SACD transports seem to be considerably more expensive than the Oppo machine, although your Wadia DAC might put you in another league.

If you're using the OPPO to play SACD, the Wadia is not needed. You can't output DSD files to the Wadia.
The OPPO's analogue output is very good for its price. It bettered my old McIntosh MVP871 for <1/5 price. |

I owned a BDP 95 for some time, it's assuredly a great device. It does unfortunately have a fairly loud fan in it, that in general for blu ray/video playback wasn't particularly annoying. When however I used it for SACD playback, it was. The fan is not nearly loud enough to hear during music playback, it's just that between tracks or very quiet sections, it was to me, somewhat annoying.
Looking back, I actually preferred my BDP93 |
