OK - Thanks. I had just never picked up on the fact that you could push the D/A button and then the number.

If you're using a URC MX-980, why don't you try turning off the C1000 control of the MDA1000 and create a macro for the MX-980 that sends the D/A command to the C1000 and then sends the appropriate MDA1000 remote code for whatever discrete MDA1000 input you want to select? That's what I have done with my URC MX-850, and it works great.

I added macros C1000 stays on D/A while MDA switches inputs. This has been working good for the last week.

I've been busy so I haven't contacted Chuck to find out why the c1000 isn't working properly. I may have to email him......
