The 5933 is so ugly it looks good lol. They are very industrial looking as opposed to the classic look of 807.

I am listening to a related tube, the RCA 6bg6ga, in another amp. I love them in my Firebottle and I might like them more in push pull. I’m getting all of 6 watts of class A power out of them. Triode 320v 40ma into 8k transformers. So so good. Using GEC brown base b36 input tubes. Will probably try the same tubes in my Inspire this weekend.

Just received my purchased the Sophia Electric 274B Mesh Plate Tube for my Kleen-Sweep (direct from Sophia Electric). Dennis said it would sound great and, as expected, he was right.

Question for Dennis, Analog Addict, and the community. What is the rectifier tube shown in the picture from the 300B Amplifier from eBay? (it's the same tube from a Kleen-Sweep listing back in December). I'm trying to figure out this exact tube so I can track one down. I think I also saw this same tube in a recent post by Analog Addict of some of the new Dennis gear.

So a short update on the PSE GK6'er build. Prepped the chassis and the parts and primed them with several coats of primer.

I decided to go a little more traditional on the paint colors, other than a little extra sparkle. Finished the chassis and parts in black lacquer, but decided to add a spritz of copper flake to the parts. It's hard to get the full effect, because the color doesn't photograph well, but it is the same color as the copper pad.

Everything got a coat of clear coat and will have over a week to dry, since I am out of town. If you look carefully, you can kinda see the reflection of the power supply schematic on the chassis

On another note, Dennis had some time, so he has finished the Inspire 3.1 speakers, and now I've got to get the production spun up. Since my maker has a full time job elsewhere, I would ask everyone to be please be patient. I have promised Dennis that I would see this project through to completion. He says there are truly world class speakers, and considering what I heard during the prototyping, I believe him.
