For a high powered bass amp, you might want to look at the Emotiva XPR-1 monoblocks. At 1000 watts at 8 ohms and more as the impedance goes down, it will give a kick to bass. Not very expensive either. They have balanced AND single ended inputs so the Infinity crossover will feed right into it.

Thanks Gary protein. Great amplifier at a good price. The only problem I can see its of a bridged differential design. The Infinity active crossover unit won't work with bridged amps unfortunately. Best if I can find an amplifier where the negative speaker terminal is referenced to ground (the old way of doing it). The only one I've come across so far with modern amplifiers is the Bryston 4Bsst2 but thats way short on power.
