I doubt you will get a detailed answer to your question here, and I'm not sure how relevant it is to this thread.
However, all the ones I have seen have used silicon rectifiers and voltage regulation. No tungar or elaborate supplies, perhaps his older/earlier implementations did? Last edited by omodo; 01-07-2015 at 07:01 PM. |

That thread has the title understanding Shindo and thats what I am trying to do. What attracts my interest was the use of silicon rectified and voltage regulated power supplies in his speakers when most people on the internet said that low voltage tungar sounds much better...whats his intention and choice in using it? |

Probably Ken Shindo wasn't that hooked on internet fora nor on opinions expressed by all sorts of "experts" about likes and dislikes ;-)
