Beet Farmer.......This particular online retailer is a long time well established business. I have done business with them for years, and generally pleased. The seller's people were courteous and responsive. The two albums I referred to above were just frustrating and expensive examples why I no longer find online shopping for vinyl LP's to be enjoyable. The hit or miss aspect seems like a crap shoot to me. It is not my intention to be derisive toward an established online retailer over my complaints with two LP's, so I will withhold the retailer's name out of good conscience.

Well, I ordered $700 more records from Elusive Disc.
All but one showed up perfect, packaging was great.
The U2 Joshua tree has a ring around it where the record is showing.
I love how they say they inspect each one....

I will never order records online again.
Brick and Mortar from now on.

Both seem to have tradeoffs.

You find the hard to find album on the internet or at a store, except the stores are limited in number and you may have to drive further away (I am lucky to have a handful to choice from) but I also believe visiting other areas will lead to finding new stores leading back to if the album possesses sound challenges, what’s the difference, it still takes time and money to address the disappointment, and disappointment it is!

Don't see the connection.

Wasn't the first to show up damaged from the same outfit.
Plenty of local stores here in CO and to be honest having spent the day at 2 Goodwill's and 2 Arc's (similar to Goodwill) and my local store, I enjoyed the chase and the people.

Cheers Dave.

My wife and I were at rsd one year and we were looking for the Curtis knight band feat. Jimi Hendrix. A guy across the table goes oh here’s one and handed it to my wife. Sweet! Didn’t even bother to look until we got home. The entire spline was sliced with a box cutter. Nothing we could do about it but it still bothers me when I see it.
