My first JBL or actually first speakers were L100t.
Then Many more followed, L62, Control1, LX44, XPL200.
I didn't buy more because the foam woofer surrounds were so short live.

I once had a pair of L150A speakers in the walnut finish. Had them for 20 years and loved them. Now I just wish that JBL still made their speakers in Northridge CA being an "American" icon of the speaker business.

This year, in March, marked the 30th anniversary of my purchase of my JBL L220A speakers. I still love them, I've maintained them welll and they've continued to improve with each successive upgrade I've made in the system chain ahead of them. They're keepers.

Like you, I wish JBL still was a truly American company and in keeping with the iconic name they once were.

I would love to hear that setup!!!! Looks mighty fine!!!!! I love the McIntosh also. I am trying to find a way to hook my MC402 for the HF of the 1400 Arrays while still using the Marantz mono blocks for the LF. Since I have the Mac, I would like to use it!!

Count me in!! I got a pair of JBL L166's and have been fixing them up for the past 3 weeks with helpful tips from Vintage Pete. Thank you again! I sent the drivers to get re-foamed at Orange County Speaker Repair & they did a Excellent job! Here are the end results and i am very happy! [/SIZE]
