On my Dynaudio C1's, it was better but not gone. Puma cat aka Stephen noticed a similar thing. I think extensive break in helped his situation. I hope he will update his findings.
Yes, I noticed the same thing when I first got my Pr350. It was not on the best or most natural sounding recordings as Jim pointed out, but on recordings where the treble was a bit hot. The amp has really improved with running in, but I'm just at 400 hours, and my understanding is the amp makes a big breakthrough at 500 hours and really smooths out, so I'm clocking the hours accurately.

IIRC, the OP got his Pr350 quite new, so it may also not be fully run in.

Looking forward to your thoughts after you surpass 500 hours, Stephen.

Btw, do you suffer any of the issues with your turntable and vinyl?
Ditto... no brightness here. So, maybe a front end issue now evident with the revealing Act2/P350?

Good luck,
Bob

Yep, I'm trying to get there ASAP, though I will say that between 300 and 400 hours, this amp on the whole became REALLY sweet-sounding. I think it just needs a really good burning in....my guess is it will continue to improve even between 500 and 1000 hours.

Could be, but I think it's a combination of two things 1) the amp becoming VERY transparent after the non-burned-in-Teflon-cap fog lifts at 300 hours 2) caps needing 500 hours or so to fully burn in and smooth out.

My Bifrost kinda did the same thing. Also, I've read that the windings in the transformers also need burning in, just like cables.
