Hello, Friends,
I rided by car a several days a lot by route: Khmelnytskyy City - Kherson City; Kherson City - Odesa City (evacuation if my collection of CDs); Odesa - Kherson; Kherson - Khmelnytskyy (evacuation of biggest part of my System and all cables). Thus I stayed in Kherson 3 nights with my parents. Situation in Kherson City: - water supply - mostly ok; - electrical power - no schedule "on/off" like in other part of Ukraine, but from time to time orcs damage electrical infrastructure by strikes/shelling. Orcs are sitting on left bank of Dnipro river, they may reach City by all types if artillery. My apartments, apartments of my sister, apartments of my parents are ok for the moment. - mobile network: more or less may be usable for voice, mobile Internet is weak and unstable. - Internet (land) providers: absent. - centralized system of heating in City is absent, orcs exploded equipment when left City. -gas supply to houses: ok. -canalization: restored. My parents can survive using electrrical alternative system of heating of their apartments. When electrical power is absent - only one sourse of heat remain: gas cooking device on kitchen. During 3 days I spent in Kherson City electrical power and water suppliy were absent 1.5 days due to the shelling by orcs. I used by car to bring water to my parents. Water supply tanks with drinking water arrives from Mykolaiv City on daily basis. About 3 weeks upon orcs left City it was only gas supply in houses. The biggest problem was absense of water supply. People used water from Dnipro or street water for canalization purposes. Gas stations work in City, but I took 2 canisters with gasoline when rided to Kherson (24 litres). Because I red news that 1 liter costs 100 UAH (rexchange rate 1 USD equals to 40 UAH). Provision stores work, no big problems with that. I didn't see any medical store (apotheke) works. Road from Mykolaiv City to Kherson City is under minor repairs, authorities are trying to fix this problem, but 3 parts of road require total renovation, I guess it will take at least 12 months after the war. A lot of humanitarian aids arrives in City, but a lot of clames regarding distribution. Newly designated authorities are not living in City, they ride from Mykolaiv every morning. We will ask a lot from President Zelenskyy when this war will be finished... I will drop a few photos later. |
