RIP Johnny Pacheco
The man primarily responsible for bringing salsa & Cuban music to the public thru the Fania label passes at 85.
Our local WRTI FM station (excellent fidelity) broadcasts a great Saturday night 'latin jazz' show, "El Viaje" if you are into streaming FM radio. https://www.npr.org/2021/02/15/84674...9614&orgid=433

Big event in our household as my wife is Cuban and we are all Cuban music fans. This entire generation of awesome performers is aging. RIP Johnny.
