I was wondering one thing:
since they were able to make an updated version of the old MC3500 (with the MK II), if they really wanted to, they could do the same with the XRT2Ks! Other than XRT2.1, a revised and improved version (new design, new binding posts, aluminum cabinet) of the best speakers ever produced, dare I say, in the world. They could be released together with the renewed version of the MC2KW (MC2.1KW or MC2KW MK II)  XRT2K MKII petition: Ivan, would there be a remote possibility of collecting signatures? I also ask you because Mr. Charlie Randall never replied to my email, and honestly, I was really upset about this...  They limited themselves, after my insistence, to let me have a cold answer from Mr. Chuck Hinton. As an enthusiast I would never have expected it, I also thought for a few moments of leaving McIntosh for Wilson, and it is not certain that it is not Lighthouse...  From my point of view, the customer must be pampered and, considering the cost of the speakers, accompanied until the final decision, perhaps with alternatives or reassurances regarding the choice of the replacement product. Sending an email with 8000 characters and receiving a few lines of reply is making me waver this time. Now I have no idea how you are treated in America, but in Italy, I feel abandoned by McIntosh. On a serious note, you should really consider taking him up on finding you a mint pair of used XRT2K's. If you really want them and a new pair is quite impossible to find then going the used route makes sense and is really the only option.
