The New Jadis JA120 monoblocks!
New Jadis JA 120 monoblocks just out designed around the KT120 tube, cant wait for a review. My JA80's are amazing, looks like a beefier transformer and the addition of 6 KT120's per side will make this amp a killer. Looking to get a floor model in soon on my Elipsas, here are a few pics plus a nudie.

I still don't understand why Jadis is not offering balanced inputs....

Many manufacturers, especially the European, British and japanese have never regarded balanced inputs and outputs as being necessarily better than single ended ones. They are a necessity in professional arenas due to the distances involved but generally not necessary in a domestic setting. Some offer them just so as not to exclude themselves from the US market (e.g. Nagra, Jadis (!), Dartzeel, Air Tight) but their engineers would never use them themselves Then you have chaps like Boulder who, I believe, offer nothing but balanced inputs. I have no idea if it is more or less difficult to manufacture good versions of each but balanced circuits are inevitably more complicated and put more components between input and ouput than single ended ones. Complexity does not always mean better sound I tend to find that, in general, manufacturers who offer them as standard (with as many, if not more, of their inputs in balanced) tend to sound better in balanced whereas those who offer it just for flexibility sound better single ended. Zee Germans are very big on balanced. I believe them, because my Burmester 089 in balanced mode is simply breathtaking. Transparent, detailed in an emotional way and super analog sounding. I keep thinking, "Now where are those damn tubes in there?" Also bump for a super guy and shop in the Audiosalon.
