Love the view......I love Vancouver.....been there several times during our ski trips to Whistler Blackcomb. Don't know if I could handle all the rain if I lived there, but other than that, it's one of the most beautiful areas I've been to. The Sea to Sky highway is just awesome, especially after a light snow.

It was drizzling the day a friend and I walked through the Buchart Gardens on Vancouver Island. Fortunately they provided umbrellas for visitors. Despite the damp weather Buchart Gardens was spectacular. That evening we ate a good dinner on the Ferry while crossing the Strait of Georgia from Vancouver Island to Vancouver, BC. Caught a live performance by Mose Allison in Vancouver. Great fun and fond memories.

Dan, I was there almost 20 years ago. I think it's time for me to go again.

Thanks, Handlebar. It's funny though because I always get excited when we travel in our RV to areas east of the Cascades because I love seeing the countryside. Drier, open plains or desert are beautiful to me even though I basically live in a rain forest. I love Montana and that type of country. Spent a week at a nice Motorcoach resort in Polson. I think it's because I grew up on the prairies.

Dale... I got to live just east of BC for a time in the 70's, and loved it. I bet the city has changed considerably, but I hope it has maintained its cosmopolitan, sophisticated charm.

Your yard and view are super. Thank you for sharing!
