Ud7005
Hello!
I bought my SR7005 about almost a year back for the bedroom and really like what it did for the sound, my video, and how convenient it was because it came with a universal remote control. Then 3 months later, I bought the UD7005 to match; kept it in a corner, and got busy with work, traveling abroad, and spent a lot of time with my McIntosh system in another room. I only hooked it up today, and what a surprise, it is pretty good! So I went searching around for some details about it online, and I can't seem to find anything relevant. It has also been replaced with UD7006. What gives? Anyone knows what happened to the UD7005? I am getting a hint from one site that it needs a firmware upgrade in order for it to play BluRay, and it was not available at time of launch. All other sites say it's a 3D player. Anyone has any clue with the UD7005, and what is the difference between this and the UD7006? Thanks in advance! enit. |

I learnt the the UD7005 was released for Europe only. Marantz zeal kind enough to reply.
The upsampling of video is really good especially when on a television. |
