No time to lose!
We hurried back to see more. With all the great systems downstairs, one could forget the goodies in the room upstairs. Three masterfully build high end systems also there, yes Sir!   The ones in the dungeon, I would call them ultra high end, but these too are true high end.  Looking for cables... Is this wireless?!   It HAS to be wireless! How does he do it?!  S... it DOES have cables!!

 We listened to all the speakers except the JBLs.  They will leave the room anyway, direction Asia.   I know the TADs very well. Heard them various times, in show conditions, and in living room demonstrations.  The Aerials are deliciously looking speakers. They ooze quality.  This K-03x was brand new by the way, but performed already quite well.

Then Ivan had to leave the room, to attend some business.
 This little device allowed me to swap between the speakers. I hadn't heard Aerial speakers yet, and I enjoyed my time with the 7Ts. A serious offer in their price category. Of course, the TADs are better, but they cost 5 times more if I'm not mistaken. The 20Ts with subs are the equals of the TAD monitors, price wise, and they go of course deeper. They are wonderful, but personally, I'd pick the TADs as best of the room. More finesse, more true to the sound.

After this very nice room, we went back downstairs, to experience the theater room.
 Experience is a good word. You hear it, see it, FEEL it. Sometimes you have the impression you can even smell and taste it, so overwhelming the sensory input is. I got an explanation about the reason of the 100+ drivers of the massive front speakers. Their value for a home theater can not be underestimated.    Ivan told me he pushed McIntosh to produce a decent center speaker.  Well, it IS decent! Massively decent I'd say. You have to live this to believe it. Those mighty Gothams thumping almost literally in your back (Transformers), musicians IN the room (The Eagles). The best theater I've seen/heard/felt. By far. Basta.

It doesn't always have to be uberexpensive:  Lift your cables with Walmart thingies!  Enhance the playback of your CDs with this.  Clean your gear with Gerlitz! (Will come in handy, I have some of that shiny gear too!).
