Living in Colorado buffalo is easy to find (picture stalking tatanka in the aisles of Whole Foods), I've eaten buffalo steak and burgers and love both. Currently I have a freezer full of organic, grass-fed beef so I don't buy any buffalo.

I really enjoy buffalo . I treat it just like beef except I enjoy it more medium rare as opposed to beef which I do medium

We no longer eat beef burger at home, only when out. It is Turkey or Bison burgers only. We have a couple local markets that get 1lb packages of the ground bison for $10 and if they pass the date, my wife gets them much cheaper. We tried the steaks at home and were not thrilled with the results but at restaurants, they have been fine. There is also a pretty local to me Bison Farm near Valley Forge and they also own a restaurant called The Rising Sun with lots of Buffalo on the menu.

I have tried them on a couple occasions in the past at Ted Turner's (Atlanta)

Not bad...But I personally still prefer the standard burger.

I have enjoyed Buffalo on a couple of occasions while visiting Colorado. To me the meat is a bit leaner than beef.

Bison burgers are fantastic. Wash it down with a good bootle of cab.
