Default My cooking

I don't cook often and usually grill but yesterday I tried making fried chicken for the first time and it came out pretty tasty! Dry ingredients: flour, salt, pepper, mustard power, chili-pounder, garlic power. Wet ingredients: 1/3 cup of water, three eggs, Louisiana hot sauce. Dip chicken in egg mixture, dredge in the flour mixture, and pan fry four minutes each side. Shure was good

Congrats on a successful out come. For the most part the kitchen is my wife's domain and I am happy that she loves to cook...

That's the way it is here usually but my wife works long hours, as I do. She is usually home before I am but yesterday, like today, I'm not working. So I'm making use oh the slow cooker. Season meat with a dry rub mixture: salt, pepper, chili-powder, paprika, mustard powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder. Brown in skillet, then place in slow cooker with garlic, onions, carrots, bay leaves, wine, and water. Looks good and smells awesome. Taste? More on that later
