Is there any "Store Bought" Pizza that's worth the effort?
Since my favorite Pizza place bit the dust . . .
And, since, other that Pizza Hut, Papa John's and Dominoes, we live in a Pizza wasteland. Has anyone found a grocery store pizza worth owning? I've found that Sam's Club and Costco have "store made" Pizzas that are O.K. but barely edible. Any Suggestions?

When I have to go frozen, I go DiGiorno. Funny you bring this up, Julian, but a friend just redid his kitchen to house a brick pizza oven. We were there, last week, and it's awesome...this lousy phone picture doesn't do it justice:

Sean, it can use natural gas or wood, and it cooks a (thin crust) pizza in about 90 seconds...man, were they (yes, THEY!!) good.

Julian, are there any store bought brands that you have tried? Another fairly easy option is a Boboli and your own toppings.
Boboli Pizza Crust | Pizza Crusts | Ready Made Pizza Crust

Funny thing Julian. When I was a student I supported myself by making pizza. Those days are long gone, but I still enjoy making a good pizza! There is enough in it to keep you occupied ... and unlike hifi my wife doesn't complain about this hobby.

Julian, we do a lot of Boboli. My favorite is barbecue chicken, sauteed onions and pineapple on thin crust with barbecue sauce instead of pizza sauce. Go easy on the sauce, as a little goes a long way when it's barbecue.

There are just to many pizza places around here to consider buying a pre-made pizza.

Boboli is just crust, so some assembly is required.
