i will be cooking Christmas Eve Dinner as usual.

This year will be simple and traditional;

Cauliflower Puree Soup with Scallops and truffle oil
Roast Turkey (it's brining in my cooler as we speak)
Brussels Sprouts
Roast Potatoes in Grasse d'oie (goose fat)
Bread Sauce
Blueberry Crumble with custard and vanilla ice cream

My mouth is watering at the delectable dinner descriptions! :-)

In my house it will be:
* 3 Rib Roast (bones will be used for soup later)
* Fresh mashed potatoes
* Fresh gravy made from the pan drippings
* Home garden salad
* Fresh french rolls dripping w/ butter
* Cornbread stuffing (as mandated by my kids)
* Green Beans
* Oven crusted yams
* A nice rich California Cab

Julian, don't forget to keep some of the Ripple to add to Champale for New Year's. Champipple is a Fred Sanford classic.

Christmas dinner starts Christmas eve and finishes about 24 hours latter.

It features home made breads, pies and chocolates. Fresh turkey and aged beef are the center of two formal meals during this time frame.

Shrimp, vegtables, potatoes and pastas compliment. Breads and cheeses are ever present.

Fine wines and stout beer is also pleantiful.
