Philippe,

Congrats on the LP275s. In addition to the added power, the output transformers have an improvement in their bandwidth capability. Should have a bit better highs.

Enjoy,
Bob

I'm so envious of both you guys...I'd love to have either a pair of LP275Ms or a Premier 350...

I guess I'll have to put up with life with that V-6.

Thanks Bob
I agree it is not only a question of power, even at very low level they have an authority and control on the speakers which does not have the LP140M, with wider bandwith, better transient response and air...amazing

Stehen.....V6 mabe... but.... De Luxe
It is difficult to quantify the differences by words but if you are lucky to listen to successively 70/140/275 or ART you will need no more than 5 minutes to be convinced that the assertions of CJ are verified

MET1. It uses six M8080s. In the SW and surround channels I use carefully selected, much-less-expensive 6C4s.

I believe it looks better without the plastic tube 'protectors'.

The two black caps standing are the SoniCap Platinums, output couplers for the front-L/R channels. Will soon be replacing the centerchannel's stock 'propylene-and-'styrene originals with another Platinum. Also visible are the original 4uF 'proplene/0.15uF 'styrene-combo output-coupling caps. The 'woodpile' of 5 large caps is the powersupply's main-filter caps.

The 2 large brown (Jupiter HT) and the small black and small white (hand-marked) SoniCap Platinum caps are the new PS bypasses.

In years past I've had a PV-5 two different times and two Premier 11As. Will have this week a pair of McC DNA-750s on the way.

TY gentlemen. FWIW, here's a 'before' pic with the output-coupler pairs circled.

I LOVE this preamp in my multichannel system.
