I have listened to this integrated amp on ProAc speakers. They were the ones with ribbon tweeters D35R I think.
I love ProAc generally but I did not fall in love with their last products.
So I did not have a nice impression of the amp. It may be very good but 12k for an integrated of this power is a LOT of money

I would buy a MA7000 without an hesitation if I had to choose between them.
Or an ARC Dsi integrated; either the 200 or the 400 will cost less.

Dan....at one time I was considering this baby....a little bling
No problem lifting this one but the MA7000 is a different story.

'cisco.......A little bling, man I'll say so. Still, the 600i looks very attractive in red and chrome.

Fred starts out telling us how useless these types of comparisons are, then promptly gets right into a full tilt comparison. I wasn't impressed with his review at all, and were I Sim Audio, I would have been extremely disappointed in his effort.

That's why we compared the 700i to the 600i and the older i7, with a Sim 750D Disc player no less!

Who goes the extra mile for you?

Jeff.......No doubt about it, you do. ToneAudio is a great audio publication. Your review of the Moon 600i and 700i was much more enlightning than Kaplan's. So was your photography of both components.

I am just about to buy a Moon 700i to go with my Marantz SA-7S1. Any recommendations on speakers, as mine could be called home-made. They are based on 1975 vintage Monitor Audio MA1.

Budget is around 5-10K, I like anything in music apart from Rap, Hip Hop etc., room size is 25ft x 16ft. I like large 3 way floorstanders or large stand mounts.
