Dan,

When I saw that picture my jaw dropped... I worked in an high end cabinet/mill work shop for a couple of years in my early 20s when I was going to school at night. I wore a eye protection, ear plugs, (and ear muffs) along with a high end respirator with fresh cartridges that I changed very often. I was religious about the safety protection as I wanted to preserve my hearing, eyes, and lungs.

Even if you are not standing in front of the sander or sprayer the material is floating around in the air and they are sucking it in. I am really shocked that in 2010 people still are this cavalier about their health.

Their speaker preference was the K-horn. Long story short, eventually they dis-assembled a K-horn, measured each piece of wood and made a set of plans. Including wood type and a list of every piece of hardware necessary. This un-official document even had a real Bell Labs drawing number. I was able to get this document when I worked at the Indian Hills lab (naperville Il) in the mid 70's by simple requesting a copy of drawing number XXXXX.
