You could easily build it yourself for half of what it sells for. All super basic cuts. The four shelf unit shown is about $1K not to mention shipping to the United States.

I think a lot of people do realise this. They also realise they can't build one themselves due to one of or a combination of: no tools, no or not enough ability, no space to actually build the rack.

If I had the space available to try and build these not to mention the time I'd definitely give it a go.

You need not have much in the way of tools, a hand saw, drill, screwdriver and not much more. As for space a drop cloth turns any floor into a work space, a car port, balcony. As for time a few hours and a $500 savings seem like it could be worth the effort. This is NOT a difficult build, a three on a scale of ten, entry level for sure.

U.S made racks with cone isolation between each shelf

Timbernation Rack (similar to Hi Fi Racks Podium Reference) timbernation.com/Highendaudiorack_PopUp.cfm

Standman - Audio Elegance Racks (better WAF) with user fillable shelves. standmanstands.com/audio-elegance.html

Not a problem, I expect delays coming to the US.

Thanks Miles, I recently looked at timbernation since PA is so close to MD. Both racks have attributes that I like.
