Default Congrats to Ayre

The Ayre KX-R swept the polls with the most "first place" votes and more overall votes than any other product in the competition. In fact it doubled the tally of the first runner up. The MX-R amps topped the category in '07 but the KX-R seems to be an even bigger success.

The Ayre QB-9 USB D/A converter took the "Overall product of the year" award by the way.

Since you already own the the Pre and Power combo, ever think of collecting this as a "family" set?

and of course the new DX5 player will complete the AYRE family

I like that thinking but could not make that happen!

I so envy yoooouuuuu!

Jerry, I may actually separate the Lamm and Ayre systems in the future. I still have and love the Lamm LL2D preamp.
