i had my walnut MB2 SE delivered yesterday. It is run-in stage now, this one could be a keeper. Not bad out of the box, so far sounds fantastic with my REF 6.

Hi,
I’ve upgraded my speakers from Focal Electra 1038 to PMC IB2SE. The speakers are driven by Accuphase e-470. The result is simply stunning. I think my search for the best speakers is over.

Satisfying to you know that you can ignore what others say about their particular brand of speaker.

I’ve had PMC speakers for many years, currently have IB2SE (in Oak), paired with Devialet D1000 Pro. Beautiful😀

I also have OB1’s for my rears and Twenty C for centre.

Default PMC’s on hand

Currently I have

PMC MB2SE connected to either PassLabs XP20 / XA25 SE or via my Esoteric F05 SE Integrated or from my HT System Marantz 8805/8077 SE

Previously I used my Twenty26 in the same set up. Funnily enough I miss them. They are boxed up ready for shipment.

I’m expecting to add a Krell DUO XD SE 300W shortly to this mix. I'm esp keen to test the extra watts power to the MB2SE. The F05 is up for sale.

Just wanted to send a shout out to all PMC lovers here, a fascinating read to go back through this post. Thanks for the good time.

What speaker cables do you use with IB2SEs? I’m in the market for the cables and thinking about XLOs reference or signature 3. Hoping somebody with the first hand experience can share their thoughts.

Best
