Default DA2 Module

Am purchasing one of three McIntosh pieces (MAC7200, C22 or C2700). The MAC7200 and C2700 would both have the DA2 module.

But, I'm fairly digitally illiterate. I've ripped all my CDs to FLAC files onto a HD, which would then be connected to the DA2. Does the DA2 module software allow me to pick thru the files on the HD or do I need other software on some other platform to control same? A Samsung Galaxy tablet, for instance.

If I need additional software, what is the best?

Thanks.

Before anyone wastes any time on this............... never mind. I purchased a C22 Mk V and it has no provision for a DA2 module.

Thank you.
Amps won't be here until after July 4th. Will break-in the C22 using the power amp of my integrated.

Thanks, John.
Waiting for a pair of VAS Citation Mk II monoblocks (new, based on the Harmon-Kardon original stereo amp, but split into monoblocks). EL34 based (though I'll likely roll in some KT77s and 6CA7s, as well). I would have preferred a pair of the reissue MC75s, but they are nearly impossible to find these days.

Glenn-

The MC 75's (MK II) were to my ears compared to the 352, 452, 275 and 2301 the best sounding Mc amps. It took a blown transformer with no replacement in near future sight and a listen to the 3500's that convinced me to let them go. As an aside while waiting for repair of the 75's, I used a single 275 and found it to be quit formidable.

Enjoy the New Sounds in Good Health Glenn!

John

Thanks, John. Yes. Been giving an MC275 MkIV-VI some serious consideration.

I am a supporter of the 275VI. I personally enjoyed the single stereo amp more than I did the mono amp setup. Just my opinion.
