I heard this speaker in that exact colour.
It was driven by an Accuphase E-600, source was a DP-550.
They sounded really great.
But I slightly preferred the G4 Giya in the same system when we compared them.
Even more natural.
Seems that pop music lovers often prefer the B1 Decade, while the acoustic music lovers (jazz, classical) go for the G4, which is only 2000€ more expensive here in Europe.

I would choose both models any time over the B&W 800 series.

I've had many speakers through my journey in audio but the B1's are the only speakers that I've kept the longest and have no urge to replace them. They just sound so right to my ears. I would only replace them for higher model Vivids.

The B1 was the speaker I wanted in my system after having heard them.
But it was a no go for my wife.
She preferred the visuals of the Giya.
I didn't want to contradict her...
