What are you driving your Focals with?

Currently driving my 807Ws with a Sony TA-F707ES integrated amp (90wpc of very sweet MOSFET power) and is a great combo. The Sony is my 'back-up' amp while the Cary SLI-80 is undergoing a full recap and upgrade to Sig F1 status. Hope to have the SLI-80 back in the system no later than the arrival of spring.

Drivning my Focal Electra 1038Be with a Devialet 200, think it's a great combo. SAM is the only thing I'm missing now but that will hopefully come in the near future.

SLI-80 now has new Clarity coupling caps & mix of Nichicon Muse & Solen for the 14 other caps, plus Hexfred power supply bridge diodes and, after ~100hr of run-time, sounds great driving the 807Ws. Am listening the 40wpc 'triode' mode, which sounds better to my ears than the 80wpc 'ultralinear' mode.

Just upgraded to the Electra 1008Be II and the SLI-80 and the Electra's are very happy together.

And, getting better as they get some run-time. Smoothing out, with better extension on both ends.
