Scala Utopias here. Just the right size for my rather smallish listening room. I have them combined with a B&W DB-1 subwoofer, but this is really gilding the lily, as the Scala's bass response is plenty adequate. These speaker's replaced my B&W 800Ds. Perhaps the wisest choice I've made in the ascent to audio Nirvana! Steve

The first hi-fi speakers I ever heard, and made me infected with the hifi virus were the Electra 1027Be at a friends house. And the first speakers I bought were Profile 908, back when I was 18 in may 2007.

Here's a picture of them I was really happy with the sound they brought me at that time.

currently driver by a modified Oppo BDP-105EU as a preamp + a Rowen Absolute TWO power amp.
Currently looking forward to buying an Accuphase integrated. Not sure if it will be an E-460, E-560 or E600, will have to listen first.
(most probably grey import from Japan though, don't have the $ for Accuphase else)
