I have a pair of Focal Micro Utopia Be speakers which are similar, and they are very impressive.
Seen here at our mountain house . . . and I know they are too close together - I just pulled them in for the picture.

I have heard them three or four times over the last year. I almost bought them, but settled for a pair of Sonus Faber instead.
The 1008 BE are wonderful! Clear, extended highs, very good bass for their size (not as deep as Dynaudio, but close), and communicate mid-range. I just felt the Sonus Faber conveyed emotion better.
