PS 5 Screen issue

Anyone ever had this on their power plant from psaudio? I emailed them and of course they would want me to ship it in for repair although there is nothing wrong that i can tell with the unit. They did offer me an incredible deal on a new one.

Is there anyway to reset it? Perhaps unplug it for some time and see the problem is still present.

Yea I tried that. Of course psaudio wants me to send it in to the tune of $750. I'm assuming this is just something with the display and nothing with the functions of the internal parts.

I would try reloading the software. There should be an SD card on the rear the software can be downloaded on to use to transfer the software to the P5.

those look like the icons for connection to the internet. PS Audio used to provide a monitoring service which kept track ac line conditions.

I think he means the horizontal lines at the top. My Sony HAP-Z1ES had similar lines. Sony replaced the LCD under warranty and the lines reappeared on the replacement LCD a short time later. [emoji53]
