i had the lamm 2.2 years back & i used a variety of pre-amps with it: Boulder 1010, VTL 6.5, Accuphase pre-amp, Lamms own pre-amp.. All sounded great but i did find lamms own pre-amp to be a bit dark sounding to my taste. Boulder and VTL being more neutral and accuphase in the middle...
One thing for sure, they all sounded great... just different flavors...
